Recently, Numis Network's #1 income earner, Ray Higdon, was locked up for "good". Before you jump to conclusions, relax, Ray was not actually arrested and taken to jail. Ray was actually taking part in the Muscular Dystrophy Association's unique fundraising program.
In an effort to make fundraising fun, the MDA created the Lock-up program where local business and community leaders agree to be "arrested." Charged with having a "big heart" and being heavily armed with kindness, these criminal do-gooders must now raise "bail" in the form of donations to the MDA.
Ray's bail was set at $3,200. Thanks to his extensive network of friends and family, he was able to raise more than $5,000 for MDA's lifesaving mission.
Money raised by MDA's Lock-up program is used to help fund research into cutting-edge treatments and cures as well as support for those affected by neuromuscular diseases.
