Ray Higdon Gets Locked Up!

Recently, Numis Network's #1 income earner, Ray Higdon, was locked up for "good". Before you jump to conclusions, relax, Ray was not actually arrested and taken to jail. Ray was actually taking part in the Muscular Dystrophy Association's unique fundraising program.

In an effort to make fundraising fun, the MDA created the Lock-up program where local business and community leaders agree to be "arrested." Charged with having a "big heart" and being heavily armed with kindness, these criminal do-gooders must now raise "bail" in the form of donations to the MDA.

Congratulations Tampa Generals

Last weekend, the Tampa Generals faced off against 3 other Florida teams in the US Quad Rugby Association's first officially sanctioned tournament of the season, the 2nd Annual Swamp Stomp. The two day tournament resulted in a first place victory for the Generals.

Originally founded in 1989, the Tampa Generals are one of the oldest Quad Rugby teams in the United States. The innovative team has much to be proud of with 3 national titles and a history of numerous team members joining the US Paralympic team.
